Functions
- Follow up on the compliance of standards and tasks of the subcontractors.
- Supervise and guarantee the quality of the executed works.
- Perform daily progress controls.
- Respond to requests and follow up the client’s needs.
- Manage the authorizations/permits of affectation before the Institutions to intervene in streets, electrical systems and other existing infrastructures.
- Provide technical alternatives to optimize construction tasks that reduce costs.
- Manage the company’s resources, personnel, equipment and supplies for the execution of works.
- Provide construction strategies to deliver the works within the established contractual deadlines.
- Review design plans and construction drawings.
- Review of accounts (certifications) for collection from the client.
- Accompanying other areas of the Company in all phases of project development.
- Ensure safety at work, aligned with health and safety specialist of the site.
Requirements
- University degree in Civil Engineering, Sanitary Engineering, Hydraulics.
- Ten (10) years of general experience in civil infrastructure projects, acting as resident engineer and/or coordinator of Resident Engineers.
- Specific experience acting as resident engineer and/or coordinator of Resident Engineers in at least one (1) sanitary and/or pluvial sewerage project for amounts greater than or equal to US$ 7,000,000.00 each.
- Preferably, experience in projects managed by the Ministry of Health, Panama Sanitation Program Coordinating Unit (UCP).
- Required suitability resolution.
- Microsoft Office skills.
- Project Management.
- AUTOCAD.
- Leader, dynamic, independence and good teamwork.
- Good presence and presentation, for external attention.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
